Website data
Information processed when the site is visited
The web server may process standard request information such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser or user-agent details, referring page, and response status. This information may be used for operation, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security monitoring.
The public website does not provide user accounts. It uses two measurement tools to understand aggregated site usage: Ahrefs Web Analytics, which states that its standard analytics service does not collect or store personal or identifiable data and sets no cookies; and Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_<property>) that hold a randomly generated identifier used to recognise a returning browser and to group its page views into a session. Those cookies expire two years after they are last set, and clearing site data or using a browser that blocks them removes the identifier.
Google Analytics also processes the request information described above, including a truncated IP address used to derive an approximate location no more precise than a city. The site does not run advertising pixels, does not link the property to an advertising account, and does not use analytics data to build profiles for advertising. A future material change to that behavior should be reflected in this notice before deployment.
Email and form inquiries
Information you choose to provide
If you send an email or submit the contact form, the message, contact details, and related correspondence are processed to respond, scope potential work, maintain business records, and protect the service from abuse.
A contact-form submission includes the fields you complete together with the submission time and the sending IP address. It is transmitted by email to security@wpserverguard.com, and a copy is retained on the web server so a delivery failure does not lose the request. The IP address is also used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Do not send passwords, private keys, backup archives, confidential source code, customer records, or other secrets in an initial inquiry. If a secret is sent accidentally, rotate or revoke it immediately rather than waiting for confirmation.
Engagement data
Client evidence is governed by the agreed scope
Authorized work may require access to logs, configuration, source, backups, or other evidence. The engagement terms define the approved systems, access method, purpose, confidentiality, retention, and deletion expectations.
Information may be handled by infrastructure or professional service providers necessary to operate the website, email, or engagement, subject to the applicable service arrangements. Information may also be preserved or disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.
